I hate the weight gain
Tami,
You said you go Kung Foo 3 times a week? That is a big workout. I think your gain is not fat is is toning of your muscles. Muscles weigh more than fat. You are toning up and that weighs more. I have heard that.
I am almost 6 years out and I am still loosing. I am donw to 126 from my highest wekght of 285. I cant figure that one out!!!!!
So if your are excercising a ton Fat turns to Muscle and Muscle weighs more!!!!! CArla and that is a good thing!!!!! I was told.
Oh my goodness! How in the world are you still losing weight? Please tell me what you are doing. I had my RNY done 2 years ago this month and stopped losing about 11 months out. Since then have gained back 26 pounds. Nothing that i've tried has helped. Not even weigh****chers. Share your secret please. I'm going to try the 5 day pouch test starting tomorrow but I need YOUR plan. Thanks. Shana
Shana,
That is the thing!!!! I dont know what I am doing to loose weight!!!!! I eat a lot of protien and I dont do the protien shakes. I hate them. Maybe that is the key. I know I am not diabetic, I checked my blood sugar and they are in themormal range by my glucomoter.
I dont eat to much carbs either. I stay away from anything white!!!!!
I did do the 5 day pouch test to see if my pouch was stretched and it wasnt. I just wanted to see. I really didnt see a difference in weight.
The only thing I can figure out is I started a new job and I am a cosmetologist and I walk a lot in my job around my chair around the salon. Plus I dont have a lot of time to munch so I am not around food at all. Maybe that is the key. Carla
I'm sure your nutritionist covered it, but have you tracked your intake on fit day? Perhaps your taking in a bit more then you realized. I read a study about 2 years ago, that asked people to estimate how many calories a day they took in......most of the time people underestimated their caloric intake by 30 percent. That is a significant difference....
Again, I don't know how hard you are working out...and such...but if your protein levels are high, and you are really working out hard, some of that weight (some not all) can be muscle mass gains. ....again it's just a possibility.
